The White House vs the Press

Slate’s Jack Shafer has a nice opinion piece (Bush or Keller?
Who do you trust?) summing up the current battles raging between President Bush and the Press (mostly the New York Times and LA Times). The title of the piece sums it up really nicely; is there anyone who really believes we can trust this administration?

This White House has broken both US and international law, lied to the American people, and has consistently sought more and more power for itself. For me the choice is simple.
